YOUTH Swiftwater Rescue Technician - August 24-26
Wave Train Kayak Team is offering an American Canoe Association Swiftwater Rescue Technician certification course for youth participants. It is a 20-hour class focusing on rescue skills you need to navigate whitewater environments and support your teammates. We will emphasize kayak-based rescue and general rescue principles, while touching on raft-based skills.
The class will meet:
August 24: 1-5 PM - Classroom Session
August 25: 8 AM-5 PM - On river training
August 26: 8 AM-5 PM - On river training
